And all of that is great words until the guy you broke up with rapes you on your couch. Then reality sets in. You pray you aren't pregnant, you scrub your body so hard in a steaming hot shower trying to get every cell of him off of you, and you hide it.

If you hadn't of broken up with him at your apartment, he wouldn't have raped you.
If you had just slept with him while dating, your first time wouldn't have been with his hands around your neck or over your mouth.

It is awesome you have never been in this position. Everyone should be like you and not know what rape is like.

But we aren't. And your judgment on how to react is just ignorant bull*****

Rape is awful, scary, and disgusting. It is a filthy and unfair crime that men disporportionally commit against women. It needs.to.be.reported. You don't know my past or why I feel the way I do. Perhaps I or someone I love was mistreated and regret everyday not reporting the crime when it happened.

I cannot overstate the need to report sexual assault immediately regardless of the familiarity of the assailant, and will talk to my daughter again today because of this post. I cannot change what happened to someone else, but I what I can do is empower my children to respect yourselves and others even if it is a sacrifice.

Feinstein is one of the more reasonable Dems. She came out a while back and said there was no Russia evidence. I recall there was another issue where she, although a dem, was more objective and I recall thinking how I respect that. I know she is very anti-gun, but she's not as looney as the other Dems.

I'm surprised she is the one bringing this up actually. I think someone must have had some leverage on her. The story I heard was it somehow leaked and she was forced to acknowledge it.

My initial feeling as well.
She was pressured. I can't help but feel she knew it was a hollow, desperate shot. All the more reason she needs to suffer the fallout from an obvious, empty smear.

I'll tell you why. Because the Anita Hill approach backfired. I watched those hearings for Justice Thomas. Having her there testifying, although dramatic, didn't move the needle. As a woman in the legal biz back then, it was like, "You couldn't handle that piddly ass crap? Really?" Harassment meant something altogether different back then.

I remember these hearings. Was my first exposure to Long Dong Silver

The problem with Ms. Hill's feigned outrage was that she kept following Thomas from job to job. Couldn't have been that bad. At one stop she was with him in the freakin' EEOC. And then years later complained about harassment? What was her job at the EEOC about in the first place?

Never passed the smell test.

So IOW the check from the DNC cleared and now all of a sudden she's absolutely sure it was Kavanaugh but isn't it a shame she never told anyone and no one can corroborate her story from 40 years ago.

This will be the standard liberal tactic from now on.

Pay out enough cash until you find a good liberal soldier willing to come forward and accuse them of witchcraft....er rape

Beto got his records cleared for DWI and Trespassing as an adult. Kavanaugh was about 17 during this allegation. This is a load of crap. It is a bigger load of crap than those folks who tried to pin the death of a woman on Laura Bush.
