Just read where NBC has ordered nine more episodes, and they are going to run a new episode on Monday night (going head to head with Patriots vs. Vikings, and avoiding Halloween night)! Apparently, ratings picked back up a little for this week's episode. Woo-hoo! More MINKA!!

Good to hear, Mandingo.

I hope NBC takes a chance with this show like they did with The Office, and let it grow slowly instead of basing its decision off the ratings on the first couple of episodes.

Regarding the logistical football errors: I'm guessing the guys editing and producing this show are the same guys that got beat up by football players in high school.

The football players that beat them up are probably laboring on the sets and working on the landscaping of the show's filming location.

Lyla is hot, but take her our of the cheerleading outfit and put her in a denim skirt, and she's a dime a dozen at Aggieland.

Does anyone else feel sorry for Matt Saracen? Poor kid keeps trying to hit on Coach Taylor's daughter and he keeps getting rebuffed with extreme malice. If that poor kid doesn't have a nervous breakdown before end of the season, it'll be a miracle.

Is there any way that NBC could set up an online poll and allow us to vote a character off the show?

Coach Taylor telling Saracen to take his daughter out to dinner and a movie and get her in the back seat of the car (without knowing that's what he was doing) was priceless. I was rolling.

Coach and Saracen are both great characters. The guy that plays Saracen does the nervous, unsure kid perfectly.

one of the better episodes.

good for matt keeping his mouth shut and not ratting his boys out. earned respect right there with the team.

The quarterback knew he was going to get his a&& kicked and got the first punch in before it went down.

Greatness. That scene alone put this show in my top 3.

My thoughts on the episode:

1. Show is getting better
2. Matt is gonna SOMEHOW have a romance with the Coach's daughter
3. The Coach will slowly become more of a father figure
4. Saracen earned serious respect from the coach and the team bigwigs for going on the raid and not ratting his boys out
5. Voodoo is bad news, he will start a game or two, but Saracen will somehow win the spot back
6. Buddy will get put in his place soon
7. Something horribly wrong will probably happen to Matt's dad or grandma.
