You like it?
Saw it a few weekends ago and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would
notice I didn't mention Connie Britton but the younger galsGreasenUSA said:
Yeah, Connie Britton, Adrianne Palicki, and Jurnee Smollett have all had nice careers since FNL. Though probably not quite on the level of Jesse Plemons, Kyle Chandler, and Taylor Kitsch.
Edit: Forget it. Not worth arguing with Barnes.LMCane said:notice I didn't mention Connie Britton but the younger galsGreasenUSA said:

and ask anyone who "Jurnee Smollett" is and 99.5% would have no clue.
Palicki also has not been in much considering she was pretty much a main character.
the level of Plemons and Chandler and Kitsch is about 50 times higher, although maybe there just aren't roles in hollywood for the younger ladies.
Pretty sure the writers strike messed with them.gigemJTH12 said:
grinded through the sh**show that was season 2.
the transition from Season 2 to 3 is WILD.
end of season 2 Lyla was a holy roller dating that Christian radio show guy, and Riggins was borderline stalking her.
season 3 starts and she is dating Riggins.
also season 2 ended with them trying to make playoffs. Season 3 starts and its the next year already. Didnt really mind this. Hard to create drama for three straight playoff runs so doing Season 1 playoffs and (im assuming) Season 3 is a good play.
Certainly not as well-known as her brother.LMCane said:

I remember participating in the letter writing campaign around the time of the writer's strike. There was a good chance it was going to get canceled after the shortened 2nd season. Lots of folks sent mini footballs and letters into NBC. That spurred them on to strike the deal with DirecTV's The 101 network for a cost/revenue-sharing deal starting with season 3. The 101 premiered the episodes, and then they aired on NBC a few months later. Pretty unprecedented, and a minor miracle how it all worked out to let the show finish out its story.SJEAg said:
Wonder if FNL takes the crown for a show that jumped the shark so badly and then made a strong recovery. I can't really think of a better example. Good shows may have a weak season, but FNL S2 was on another level of totally changing the show up. I can think of similar implosions but it usually results in cancellation and not redemption.
