David Nuño: Shane Sdao & Aiden Sims
- Shane Sdao. He looked really good. Seven innings. No runs. Seven strikeouts. No walks. Pitching issued no walks all weekend. Aiden Sims tossed seven innings, three hits, one run and struck out 10. He has looked really good.
- We should give some basketball love, but I need to give some love to Ny'Ceara Pryor. They have won three in a row, and against Arkansas, Pryor had 16 points, 12 assists and six rebounds.
- Some love for Rashaun Agee. He had 18 and seven against Oklahoma. Saturday Down South had a list of the best players in the SEC, and Agee wasn't on that list. He is a huge reason this team might make the NCAA Tournament.
Olin Buchanan: Sawyer Farr
- How about I do something a little different and say Sawyer Farr? He saved them in that second game with a game-tying double. He came in and made a spectacular play in the infield to rob somebody of a hit. They were down to their last strike. He drew a bases-loaded walk to win the game. I was impressed with Farr.
- I try to say Fatmata Janneh's name fast.
- Agee is taken for granted. Another double-double, and it gets taken for granted. I bet he has more double-doubles than he doesn't.
- I won't argue that Agee is a top-three player in the league, but I'm glad that he's on our team.
- Rylan Griffen is somebody that they really need moving forward. They need consistent high-level play for them to reach their goals. He is a key high-level player.
