I'm enjoying it a bit more but it just seems ...."off".

they went for the big emotional close with the Believe sign (and celebrating the kid that we don't know) last night and it just didn't hit at all for me.

Episode 8 - loved the tribute to All the President's Men complete with original soundtrack and Mae as Deep Throat. I'll bet most of the viewing audience hasn't even seen this masterpiece of a movie.

I had very low expectations for this season but it has been great! I'm sad there's only 2 more episodes.

I agree that I've enjoyed this season more than I thought I would. I've got some questions about last night's Higgins investigation......

1.) I'm pretty sure we as the audience are supposed to understand that it's Zelda.
2.) If Higgins did all that work, just to come to the wrong conclusion and be behind us, then I don't like that .
3.) If Higgins did figure it out and was putting it on Rupert to throw Zelda off, then that's good writing.

why would he be buying Richmond though? This is personal. I pointed it out last week. Zelda has been bringing sharky people around since she showed up.

I've seen ATPM several times too and the soundtrack was recognizable the minute I heard it. Also when Higgins was doodling on his note pad it was just like Woodward's doodling in the movie, and the wording of phone conversations and the door-to-door interviews were right out of ATPM. The topper of course was Mae in the dark basement saying "Follow the anger."

Redford would have given this episode a thumbs up.

Lol - I thought she kept saying follow the "anchor" - I was very confused trying to trace back what kind of anchor. Zelda on the boat is what I came up with.
