Really curious to where they are going with Alice's character. Felt like we were finally making headway then she snapped again.
Thought the "Jump Around" routine was a "jump the shark" moment.
Agreed with whoever said it earlier, they really are rushing the storylines this year.

Last night's episode was a blast, Jump Around was great and the cameo was perfect. The girls at the party were super entertaining and I thought the conversation Ted and his ex-wife had was really insightful. Beard's moment was tough too, he's a character you just love and hate to see hurt. Kinda saw the last moment with Roy in the hospital coming, but him amped up on painkillers was too good.
I also figure we're gonna learn more about what's going on with Mathias (that break didn't last long) and thought they handled Alice really well in this ep. Strong overall and intrigued to see where it's going.

To me, this was the first episode that really felt like a Ted Lasso episode. Favorite one from this season so far I think.
What is Zelda's endgame? Her actions are very manipulative. First with getting Rebecca drunk at the big game. The party had all sorts of weird situations, including ignoring Alice, "setting up" Beard with a girl who ultimately rejects him, and then blasting Rebecca and Keeley in front of all of the big wigs. Setting up for an offer to buy the club after manipulating the women's team to failure?
All I know is that after a night of drinking, I am all in on "purse ham"…funny.

Zelda is good in small doses, too much of her tonight
Is there a more tired TV trope than someone eavesdropping, hearing something, but leaving before they hear the full statement?

Honestly the Roy and Jamie dynamic was the best part of season 3 and the best part of season 4.
Great episode. some stuff was a little predictable (Roy/Keeley to me, and the pilot showing up) but lots of genuine emotion and moments and little talks between people.
And they didn't cheapen anything. No sudden romance for Ted or getting back with the wife - their journey and support is endearing. Co parenting and being true friends.
Jamie was a welcome sight - he brings a lot to every scene he is in.
Good humanizing of Alice. Painful but real set back for Beard.
The team is growing on me finally.
Felt like a very much needed reset for everyone. Lots of truths were said.
And they didn't cheapen anything. No sudden romance for Ted or getting back with the wife - their journey and support is endearing. Co parenting and being true friends.

I could do with a lot less of Tracy Ullman. Really not sure what her role is supposed to be. It's not like she's funding the team. It's not college where boosters have power.

I have this sense she's working a long game to sabotage the team somehow. She wants to drive a wedge between Rebecca and Keely, and I think she was the one who bought seats so the game was "sold out" but still half empty. I get the sense she has some kind of agenda. She's not coming off as a 3d character - I just look at her and see "a Tracey Ullman character," at least partially due the terrible wig.

She bought the seats and then donated them to schools as a way to sabotage the club?
I don't disagree with your premise, but I don't think this particular point supports it.
She is probably trying to take over the club ownership.
