Another Rush show cancelled/rescheduled due to illness.

But it's Anika this time. Has the flu.

Oct 17 2nd show in San Jose pushed to Dec 6.

22 shows left on NA tour.

Next show is Oct 21 in St. Louis assuming she recovers.

let's just hope it does not cycle through any of the rest of the crew or band.

Thinking about picking up tickets for the make up Dec 6 show in San Jose.

1. i got pretty cheap tix on the first FW makeup date
2. on the second FW show that was rescheduled twice they did a special set with both all of MP and all of 2112
3. Last show on US soil for the foreseeable future

it's a Sunday show so might be able to fly in and out for not too much as it is not too close to t-giving or xmas.

Saw that today. Good interview. Maybe a step down from the Beato interview but good.

She's way looser here. The Beato interview was before the first show. And in that interview it was very scripted.

I know when it was. I just thought Rick's questions were better.

Later in April Copenhagen or the last show in Finland.

It's going to be an expensive trip.

Already is, but just got exponentially more so.

Travel budget for 2027 is already blown. Hopefully they do it again in 2028.

I've never been to the Sphere but my friends who have, have raved about it.
The May 30th show on Memorial Day weekend looks promising.

That does include two tickets to the show, transportation to/from, etc. 2 nights accommodation at Fontainebleau

The Sphere is a great experience. ("Postcards From Earth" shows off the technology very well, even if the plot is mind-numbingly insipid.) Get there early to see the demos on the ground floor, but skip concessions there. The lines are much shorter on the higher levels.

Did I read here that 200 level is the best?

Rumor is full album performances of 2112 and Moving Pictures. Time to pawn things for tickets.

For reference

Metallica sphere trip was 3 nights in Virgin hotel and 2 show tickets each for 2 people, that was $2700 for a pair (this was a travel package at cost)
Then I spent roughly $1k in the 3 days there (I have no idea how, it just adds up)

Then flights.

Granted, Rush is doing single night, so that hotel bill can go down to just 1 night.

There is no best all around.

Do you want to be close to band, or have best view of visuals. You can't have both.

IMO, visuals get better the further you are up. I walked into each section before the metallica show got started to check it out. Level 1 kinda sucks really. First off, MUCH of level 100 is underneath the overhang.. can't see **** except the stage. When you get out from underneath the overhang, you have site lines to the visuals, but much of it is straight up.

Level 2 is still low, lots of visual/screen still above you and turning head completely left or right. Still close to band though, and probably best seat with that regard, since you're elevated.

Get to level 300 and you're starting to get a great balance. Less turning of head to take in the full screen, can still see the band pretty good. Even in the back of these sections, it's good.

level 400 (where I was) finally made it to where I can pretty much see the entire screen without turning head. Obviously, the band is further. And if you're back of section, the stage (these vary, so can't say for sure) might be harder to see.


My view. I was in the section 1 to the left of center towards the right side, row 4 on 400 level.

U2 right after the Shere opened. I was in 204 or 205, about 20 rows back.

Been twice 300 level seems the best and ticket prices seem to mimic that

That said RUSH if they do full albums as previous mentioned rumored then looks like more of my money may go to Vegas once again

Already there for work related stuff in late Feb early March and again in April

Wondering if RUSH will add shows because early July is distinct possibility as well
