Other than Lanterns, it feels like Gunn took on Superman and assigned a summer intern to pick the rest of the first wave of stuff.

Not sure what Paradise Lost is but someone finally came to their senses on Waller. Worst idea they had in the stable.

Series Concept:

-
Setting: Themyscira (Paradise Island), the birthplace and home of the Amazons.
- Plot: Political intrigue, societal conflicts, and power struggles among the all-female population.
- Timeline: Set long before the birth of Wonder Woman.

LOL! Rake my eyes out before I would watch this. We all know how that would go in real life.

I guess everyone at DC acknowledged that as well.

Plus Ritchson has zero charisma and would make a horrible Slade.

He's also giant enough to play Bane. Seems 180 out for what makes sense…in other words just like DC except for Batman

First thought. How is not playing Bane? Confused.

Put me in the camp of all these talks and rumors are all just centered around Gunn trying to ensure his contract gets renewed after Man of Tomorrow comes out….

So I wouldn't buy in to all this too terribly much right now….

Cause if Man of Tomorrow bombs…for example does considerably less than his first Superman film….hes out.

Not sure if this is confirmed but extension talk came out a couple days ago.

Stopped reading when I made it to this:

Quote:

Gunn's extended tenure means he'll continue overseeing a sprawling slate of DC projects spanning film and television. His filmography as co-CEO already includes 'Superman,' 'Peacemaker' Season 2, 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,' and 'Lanterns,' with 'Clayface' and his own directorial effort 'Man of Tomorrow' still ahead on the release calendar.

On the television side, DC Studios under Gunn has developed 'Creature Commandos,' 'Waller,' 'Booster Gold,' a Jimmy Olsen-focused crime series, and a previously unannounced Mister Terrific series with a pilot script from Allan Heinberg. That kind of expansive output has made Gunn one of the more prolific studio leaders in the superhero genre, even as individual projects like 'Supergirl' have drawn mixed results.

Wow…talk about making lemonade….

This writer man….cant take anyone serious after reading that….

What I read and watched about this speculation is that Sneider was simply referring to that earlier extension of his contract into spring of 2027. I listened to a clip of Sneider making his comment and he doesn't actually say a new extension, and the interviewer doesn't stop and ask him to clarify which you would you think he would do if this were a new revelation. People are just assuming Sneider means a new extension and they're running with it. Personally I pray to all that is holy he meant the old extension because Gunn is clearly the wrong person for this job.

Furthermore, some of these shows weren't developed. Weren't they already cancelled before they even made it out of ideation?
