The last time he was on SNL there was a skit where he took his shirt off and even my wife, who would trade a lifetime of me for 3 minutes of him, was like, "Oh, he doesn't look good."YouBet said:
BTW, is he still in shape? He looks like he might have let himself go lately but it's hard to tell. I don't mean fat; it just looks like he's not nearly as muscular as he used to be.

If this movie is even half as good as the comic it's adapting, it'll be one of the top CBMs in recent memory

Andy Muschietti on why he thinks The Flash movie failed at the box office:
— DCU Updates (@dcuworld) January 12, 2025
"A lot of people aren't interested in Flash as a character, the public half of that, the four quadrants, the two female quadrants, there are a lot of women who aren't interested in Flash as a character."… pic.twitter.com/Z43jW86lmc
Quote:
"The Flash failed, apart from all the others reason, because it wasn't a movie that appealed to the four quadrants. It failed at that. When you spend $200 million making a movie, Warner wants to bring even your grandmother to the theaters. And I found out in private conversations that a lot of people just don't care about The Flash as a character. Particularly the two female quadrants. All that is wind going against the movie that I learned about."

Just wanted to say thanks again for your earlier comments about the comic, because of them I read the comic and now I'm actually looking forward to this movie.

anything Flash related was doomed to fail when it decided to cast him in the role and write the character the way they did. If anything its an easy copout for them that he turned out to be a POS in real lifeTCTTS said:
Exactly. They announced the end of the DCEU at some point either during or after production (way before the movie came out), then there was all the Ezra drama, then the movie was delayed for like a year or more, at which point Warner Bros really started screwing with it, all while Discovery was taking ownership of the studio, Gunn was hired, etc. Basically, it was a massive cluster****, which hardly any movie of this type could have endured.
