They're really setting up Kacey to be the bridge between the reservation and the rest of the state/community. I know they're doing that with him story wise as the live stock commissioner, but if he is going to be governor that seals it and will be the peak of his story imo.

Was that really bonding though? That just seemed like a conversation between two strangers at the bar. Besides, Monica has basically become the wedge that is splitting/has split Kacey from John.
