That was the most well structured/paced and best produced episode of the season. Felt like a decent TV show again.

So, could we have skipped episodes 3-6 and still landed in the same spot we are in today? Last night's episode had good progression, but the time being spent on Jimmy still kills me - especially if they are doing the spinoff.

That was a good episode to figure out the next direction it's going. Glad to see Teeter being branded was brought up to keep that consistency. Also glad to see Jimmy find a girl in Texas. Guess that'll be what keeps him from going back to Yellowstone. Really curious how interesting the 6666 spin-off will be though. Not sure it'll appeal to the masses.

Of course it will appeal. There is NOTHING realistic about the 6666 except for the buildings, a few scenes of working cattle and the "shock and awe" for the city folks dealing with the breeding operation.

Everything else will be created and dramatized just like Yellowstone…except for a ranch with a real name that exists in real life.

What they are going to run it o issues with is keeping attention and managing desensitization between three shows that are basically the same.

Personally, I'm burned out. I hope the 1883 is entertaining from a "Tombstone" style perspective and the 6666 has a more realistic tone about actual ranch work. I know they have to keep it lively to keep people entertained but nearly all of Yellowstone is completely unbelievable to the point that it's now grating on me. I'm still pretty able to accept it for what it is which is fictitious entertainment but man it's a bit much.

Sorry if this has been discussed, but as far as Monica #2 (girl that told Kayce she loves him) - is this the same girl that was a stripper / joined the bunkhouse and then randomly disappeared?

I have a slight remembrance of that being the case, but I also like to enjoy plentiful amounts of whiskey while I watch this show.

And i have no idea; but the cowboys at the 6666 ranch may actually be real ranchers there. I have no basis for this theory except for their acting is very bad. The older man he first meets and talks about rattle snakes as to why they dont sleep on the ground, i know he's an actor.

Also, cool how they had Buster Welch speak. You could tell he was just talking and they filmed it with the actor just talking back to him.

I drove past 6666 on my way to and from Lubbock last week for work and it looked like they were setup filming off of another entrance down the highway.

On the other side of the hwy they were running cattle when I drove by and one of the guys on horseback looked identical to Rip(lol). Dark beard, dark glasses cowboy hat etc. You know that guy loves the show and attention.

Loved this episode. My favorite of the season.

My BIL rents from Enterprise a lot for work and couldn't get a car from them a couple weeks ago because the 6666 show had them all rented out.

The governor's race is going to be interesting. Jamie knows all the dirt on John, but he also has some dirt under his fingernails. He murdered a reporter in season 2. He, Rip and Walker covered it up by making it look like a kayaking accident.

I was a bit surprised John and Governor did that to him. Not surprised about Beth. I feel like John still loves Jamie but obviously does not trust him.
