sawyer from lost is just your average bad ass wall street venture capitalist who wants to be in Montana and enjoy catching some trout with his fly rod and throw them back because he doesn't like fish while his boss tries to acquire land and permits for an airport. nothing compelling or unusual about that.
What sort of occurred to me about this season is that it feels like storylines are being drawn out. I think what we are witnessing is a show that is being drawn out as a result of a pandemic. So they are having to use a bunch of crap that would likely have been edited out.

In August half the bankers in New York head to Jackson Hole and Sun Valley. Very popular part of the country for second homes. And almost all fly fishing is catch and release. Actual limits/rules vary, but people tend to throw most of them back especially if they own the land.

Let's say... half (conservative) of that acreage is "forageable" ... almost 100,000 cattle.
