When they were seeking 79 years and he only got 22 was a giant flag to me that the Feds knew the murder-for-hire was complete bullsh-t.
It was the Amber Guyger tactic. Can't get a conviction for what you're charging them with, so convince the jury the defendant is unlikable and convict them because you dislike them.

She was charged with murder, which was a bullsht charge when what she did was manslaughter. The prosecution even admitted in their opening argument that she made a mistake of fact, which is a defense against the charge.

Joe Exotic was charged with murder-for-hire when what he was really guilty of was being an ******* who sold lion cubs for profit.
