Is that a clip that didn't make it into last week's episode? Doesn't seem to really fit with where things were left at the end...

Did you watch last week? Maul already confronted Ahsoka. The above clip could be a flashback, but it seems way out of place for a preview. Which is why I was asking.
Am I the only one that thinks the preview is odd?
That fight was amazing choreography for an animated medium. That was so friggin awesomeQuote:
Apparently Ray Park did the mocap for Darth maul this episode.
It's way up there, I'd say top three, IMO. Maul's in all of my now updated top three favorites, actually. Favorites, not necessarily "best":MuckRaker96 said:
I gotta slow your roll at the best lightsaber fight ever.
Yes Xizor was in the house! I watched the episode at 345 a.m. and only got 3 hours of sleep so I keep remembering details I've forgotten. Should have had alien sloots draped all over him.redline248 said:
Whenever discussing these kinds of ideas, it's good to remember that when Obi-Wan and Yoda were in hiding, these other characters didn't exist
Am I correct that this episode re-canonized Xixor?
agreed. Which is why I am still really head scratching on the first eight. The Clone rejects episodes were ok but didn't really add anything to the canon. Nothing actually. The episodes with the sisters accomplished nothing other than bringing back Ahsoka and were pretty lame IMO. Just feels like another case of Disney/Lucasfilm "what might have been". They bring this series back for one final season and most of it is just worthless filler.Saxsoon said:
The last two episodes 9 and 10 have to be up there for some of the best in Star Wars period
I was late on watching the most recent episode and caught it last night.Coog97 said:It's way up there, I'd say top three, IMO. Maul's in all of my now updated top three favorites, actually. Favorites, not necessarily "best":MuckRaker96 said:

1) Maul vs. Qui-Gon / Obi-Wan (TPM)
2) Maul vs. Obi-Wan (Rebels)
3) Maul vs. Ahsoka (TCW)
What a fantastic episode! :-)
