Maybe he knew the cruise stuff was coming out? He does have his hands on everything and has political contacts. So he used Rhea, set up to fail as CEO, because she couldn't close the Paige deal?

I'm assuming Greg revealed his hand to Kendall before getting on the helicopter, but I'm curious of the excuse/reason that was given to the family as to why Greg was leaving with Kendall...
Highbrow drama and comedy? Maybe just not enough easy slapstick and too few titties?Brian Earl Spilner said:
Any danger of this getting cancelled?
The ratings weren't great all season. Never broke 1M and looks about on par with season 1 overall.
Why isn't this taking off more?
It's already been renewed for a third season (news broke back in August).Brian Earl Spilner said:

I feel like they've barely scratched the surface.BowSowy said:
I don't know how many more seasons they can carry this whole story along before it starts to get stale. I think it's brilliant TV and I hope they don't drag it out longer than they should

Not a chance in hell imo
I love Succession but I think it's too much of a thinking person's show to appeal to the easy entertainment masses who fall for other shows like GoT and BB. I could be off but it's not the kind of show that everyone in my office would talk about the next day like they would other shows. I've casually asked around and thus far in an office of 20ish, I'm the only one who watches this.Phrasing said:Agree.MBAR said:Brian Earl Spilner said:

I think with GOT off the air, a lot of people cancelled HBO, but this show really feels like it is hitting its stride. One emmy last year and I can see them getting a lot more next year. You can feel the buzz on twitter start to pick up.
Not sure how long the wait will be until Season 3, but I think word of mouth combined with the right marketing will have everyone binging Seasons 1 and 2 before the premier.
Kind of like Breaking Bad - it had a cult following and then really picked up steam in the later seasons and had mass appeal.
However, I agree with the above poster that a 4-5 season max is probably correct. Don't want to drag it out and have a GOT type last few seasons.
