Same here. Can't wait to hear the Oysters, Clams, and Cockles guys have fun with that one.

I think it was pretty obvious the brother is backing the whistleblower.

Is it? I feel like things are rarely that obvious in this show.

Couldn't it pretty easily be Sandy?

I think the line from the brother of "It's time to pay up" was a "wink wink" in that direction, letting us believe that it's him. And personally I agree with that - I think its the brother. He is actively trying to sabotage Logan, which is why he wants Greg out of there before he gets Greg in trouble too. He doesn't want Greg to be collateral damage.

However, with as well as this show is written, it could be a head fake for sure. I'm betting its the former though.

Agree on both statements! I still have it stuck in my head - my wife did too as we were both humming it this morning while getting ready and laughing.

OCC Podcast has been doing a pretty good job with this show - I'm glad they found a niche after GOT ended.

Another one that dives a little deeper than OCC is The Watch. And Afterbuzz TV After Show does a good job as well.

Lastly, how great of a line was "Grexit"?!? I was rolling after that.....

The whole sand mites bit was hilarious this week too.

Gonna make a prediction. As soon as Kendall took that dick pic, I had a feeling it would factor into the story at some point.

Now that Kendall has apparently dumped Naomi with zero mention of her, that pic is gonna come back and bite him in the ass. (I think she's purposely left unmentioned so people will forget about that picture and it will come as a shock/surprise to the audience as much as Kendall.)

I think this has zero percent chance of happening. A dick pick seems os ****ing trivial for what this show is on.

I think secretly paying off the family of the victim last episode went a long way toward erasing his guilt. In his mind, money fixes everything. I did assume he'd still be with the Pierce girl, and it was odd that he'd already moved on from her, but dropping this new one because she said "awesome" too many times, and then ghosting her like that, felt incredibly on brand and very much "Kendall."
His conversation with Rhea really lets you in on what made him happier. It was the new girl. But the same thing that always brings him down did it again. When he was talking to the actress (sorry have no clue what her name was) she mentions that he always talks about his dad. Kendall is nothing without fatherly approval. When he introduced her to Logan and Logan just blew her off, that was the end of that girl right then and there. It didn't matter that he (Kendall) had just screwed up her job and gotten everyone mad or how she had made him feel because Daddy didn't approve. Sends him right back down into the death spiral.

What this episode did with Kendall was so great because after they just made you feel perhaps the most empathy for him you have all series, they remind you he's just an awkward privileged rich billionaire's son who makes ****ty raps.

What they've done with him the past 2 episodes was fantastic.

Well said and agree completely. Want to add that Jeremy Strong has done a fantastic job of bringing the great writing for his character to life. Just an incredible acting job - he has been killing it every week. I fully expect him to get the Emmy next year for whatever award he is up for (leading or supporting).

And for that matter, I'm expecting that Succession will be next years Fleabag and take home multiple.

+1

I think Kieran Culkin might grab a nom as well.

Also, it kind of doesn't make sense to submit this as a Drama. At least, not for certain actors. For Roman, Greg, Tom, etc, it would make so much more sense to submit them as Supporting Actor in a Comedy.

Though, it seems like the Academy just automatically throws in hour-long series into the Drama category and half-hour into Comedy.

Admittedly, this one straddles the line between the two pretty flawlessly. (Barry as well.)

I think I laughed out loud more in this episode than any others so far. Loved it.

I thought Roman's best line was when Kendall was walking back to do the audio recording for Logan and Roman said something like "you're up, oh hey you should tell that heart warming story of how you once tried to kill dad and steal the company from him..."

I definitely think the dic pic will come back to embarrass Kendall. It won't be the main reason for his downfall but I just see everything crumbling around him with that added humiliation for him in the last episode, maybe.

- that might have been my favorite episode of the series
- Cousin Greg is nails on every single line he gets
- Love watching the kids plot together then quickly fall apart
- Tom's "flirting"
- Roman was on fire this episode; Iris face when he realized that his dad probably slept with Gerri was so good

Had some more time for this episode to sink in, first off, so glad they've kept Holly Hunter around, she's been so good. She's playing all 3 kids, telling the what they want to hear. It was nice to see Shiv finally starting to play the game. Not just acting like a petulant child, she sees an angle to have someone else potentially take a fall, opening the door for her long term, biding her time in the short term. Her staying outside the company while this plays out is really smart, she is getting it. Even simple things like trying to get Tom to talk to Rhea, she's moving the chess pieces around, getting people to do things for her, just like Logan would do.

The show aired a couple days ago so I don't think spoiler tags matter at this point. The preview for next weekend with Tom going in front of Congress should be epic. Tom is spineless when in front of anyone that isn't Greg, could play out so many ways. Would love to see Tom pull off a hail mary, but it appears he denies knowing who Greg is in front of Congress so it's a lot more likely he gets his foot stuck in his mouth or tries to excuse himself to the bathroom a few times. Regardless, the awkwardness is going to hit 11 when Tom is getting questioned.

I'm thinking something happens and the whistleblower doesn't show up. Logan tells Greg that Ewan is a coward, perhaps he gets cold feet on this even though he says people wouldn't be wrong in talking about Logan similarly to Hitler with regard to Logan's personal responsibility to the climate crisis.

I would really hope we get to find out who ratf***er is, hearing a billionaire media CEO refer to a person more than one time on this show as ratf***er has been one of my favorite things.

And once again, this show keeps raising the stakes week after week, the fact all they got was an Emmy for writing is ludicrous, the acting and direction are so good. Don't get me wrong, Fleabag was great, but Succession is on a different level. I think too many people don't get that it's a comedy, I think if they played the music from Curb Your Enthusiasm over the opening and between scenes, people might finally understand.

Just binged this show the last two weeks and absolutely love it.

Complete sidebar: EVERY time I saw Kendall, I thought to myself "gah damn, he looks like LHO." Looked the actor up tonight and lo and behold he played him in the movie Parkland. #coolstorybro
