Great show

I think Logan was expecting that outcome, but why, I have no idea.
No. I think it's clear that he didn't want Kendall (and probably didn't trust any of his kids to take the job).Brian Earl Spilner said:
Is it possible Logan wanted Kendall to succeed him, but didn't want the media to turn against him if he's nominated from within?
In other words, did he bait Kendall into betraying him in order for him to be accepted as the new face of Waystar Royco, by ousting his own corrupt father?
Then again, that sounds a little too selfless for Logan. Maybe I'm just giving him too much credit.
Yeah this is overthinking, IMO, but the throught did cross my mind with his ending half smile That final shot was a great choice.Brian Earl Spilner said:

The look on his face was great when they kept saying Greg sprinkles and the "Tom Sunday with a perfect little Greg cherry on top".Mantis Toboggan MD said:
Fantastic season finale, loved the ending, as well as Greg sprinkles.
I saw the season in the same way.Harry Stone said:
I may be alone on this, but I think this could've been planned by Logan from the beginning. At the very beginning of the season he may have wanted Shiv, but i think she was ultimately a pawn in all of this, and her biggest problem is her politics. The only thing she was good for with Logan was trying to control the Senator.
But if you think back through the season, it could be perceived that he was grooming Ken the entire year. First off, he had a few closed door meetings with ken regarding the sonny and stewie thing, and Shiv was not part of it. Second, Ken cold-blooded shut down Vaulter. I mean it was cold-blooded how he handled it, very Loganesque. Then came the hearings. Logan defaulted to Ken to answer all the questions, and Ken was again cold-blooded in his responses. I think once Logan knew they weren't going private, the grooming of Ken was his backup plan. Ken was his apprentice all season, and that half-smile was Logan's way of saying he knew it was going to happen and he set his son up to be a cold-blooded killer, not a ***** backstabber as in Season 1. Also, one last piece. Logan ridding Naomi was also part of it. He doesn't want Ken's drug problem to get in the way. If he believed Ken was going to be the absolute fall guy, why not have Naomi there where he can leverage Ken as the fall guy with his druggie girlfriend present.
The only part that throws me off in all of this is where Rhea stood.
I'm probably way off on all this, but it sure seems like there were subtle hints all season about Ken and Logan, and it really started showing with Vaulter.
