I noticed that when Probst snuffed his torch and said "the tribe has spoken", he turned his back to Varner and walked away. I can't remember him ever having done that.

Yeah, the virtue signaling went on pretty thick with Probst leading the way. The speech from Sarah sounded like something someone that got a little too carried away at Fish Camp might say.

Maybe he said he was gay because he fits in with the LGBT crowd, but is actually attracted to females.

I think as a producer Jeff was happy because he got some TV that will be talked about and get some national coverage. I think as a person Jeff was pissed at the way Varner went about trying to save himself. That tribal easily could have been 3 hours and we got to see 7 or 8 minutes.

I;d have to go back and watch every Zeke confessional and interview but I'm pretty sure that Zeke is out as a gay man, not as transexual.

Hannah is going to be on RHAP today or tomorrow to discuss so Im sure their relationship will be addressed.

I've always thought Varner was a dbag, but this really confirms it.

It was known before his first appearance on the show, because that guy Brett came out to him with "you're not the only gay man out here" thing. But him being trans has never been mentioned on the show.

I think the only way it makes sense is that it is probably easier to make the physical transition from woman to man discreetly by pretending to be a gay man. I don't think Zeke really means that she/he is now attracted to men.

And yes, Probst was digging it big time. In a span of only a few minutes he was able to lock down a trans person as both a victim and a hero. Probably already predicting record ratings for the reunion show.

I remember when Brett Labell, the gay Boston cop from last season, was on with Rob on RHAP Rob asked him about the conversation with Zeke when Brett came out. Brett talked about how he just felt it was the right time to gain Zeke's trust. Brett also talked about meeting up with Zeke after the game for dinner and drinks. He talked about how great of guy Zeke is and then he alluded to all the things Zeke had gone thru. I assumed he was talking about growing up a gay man in Oklahoma and then moving to Harvard. But looking back maybe Zeke came out to Brett as trans. I'd have to go back and listen but Brett stopped himself before saying too much.

Either way its a great interview. Brett is awesome.

For like 15 years now people have been getting fired from their jobs for making idiots of themselves on reality TV shows to the point where an employer does not want to be associated with them anymore. It happens like every year on Big Brother when a cast member makes an offhand joke and gets fired before they even know it because it's airing live.

It's been happening a lot longer than the obnoxious term "SJW" has been around.

You can't really feel bad for anyone losing a job for anything having to do with reality TV- it's a strong risk you are accepting going in.
