Saw M83 on Friday and American Authors and New Beat Fund Saturday. Both incredible shows.

M83 was good? I saw them two years ago and they were great... Have to say though, their new single is just terrible.

Debating Scorpions/Queensryche at the GRAND OL OPRY. I figured they weren't 100% country at that place but had NO idea they allowed that genre.

Is it a good venue for seeing a show?

Summerland tickets on sale today, will catch the Cowboys gig in San Antonio. Pretty pumped for Lit and Sugar Ray. Lit has one the best live shows.

Going to see Brian Wilson on Sunday. He's playing Pet Sounds in its entirety as part of the 50th anniversary tour.

Just looked up his set lists for recent shows. He's been doing 35-40 songs per night.

Cause I love Go it's so 80's sounding ..

I think we are all in agreement that "Do It, Try It" is absolutely terrible, but "Go!" is awesome


I don't even think Go! is supposed to be a single... I think XM just started playing it because they know how awful Do It, Try It is

I can understand that, it certainly won't be the Blink 182 I/we grew up with. I was always more a fan of Mark's voice rather than Tom's anyway so I'm indifferent to him not being present. However, it sounds like the band is in a much better place with Tom's absence so I'm excited to see how it works out with Matt Skiba. The single they put out today sounds promising.

We went to Enchanted Rock Fest in Cedar Park last weekend.

Bret Michaels has more fun performing than just about anyone I've ever seen!

RATT has only one original member, the drummer.

Warrant, Firehouse, and Steelheart have mostly original members and all 5 bands put on an awesome show!

Saw Pearl Jam Sunday in Philadelphia.

They played Ten front to back. First time since 1992 they've played the whole album.

Great show.

Saw My Morning Jacket last Thursday at Revention in HTX, great show, can tell they were well rested from touring so hard last year.

Also got to see them do the live ACL TV taping Monday night...I'm a bit of a jacket head. Going to Red Rocks this month too.

Wild Belle this sunday at HOB should be groovy.

Obviously Sturgill next week at WOMH, can't wait to check out this venue.
