Macbeth at the Hungarian state opera in budapest

Saw City and Colour on Saturday. Fantastic show. We were all very impressed with the performance. Great band.

Thrice just announced their first tour in 4 years (in support of a new album)! They are heading to Texas in early June. Just got tickets to see them at Emo's. Can't wait for this.

Deftones just announced a quick run of Texas dates in March. Tickets are on sale this Friday. We will definitely be heading to the San Antonio show on March 19th.

I got the chance to see Mumford & Sons in Austin at 360 a few years ago. They put on an absolute hell of a show.

I would love to see Adele live but unfortunately I like having both Kidneys.

DMB 5/13 - The Woodlands. read they aren't touring in 2017.....

I read that too. Which I understand but it's always a bit of a bummer for fans. I could see them doing another DMB caravan like they did a few years ago for their 20th anniversary.

Just got back from the Def Leppard Hysteria on the High Seas cruise. It was phenomenal, but really surreal. We saw Eric Martin, Tom Keifer and his band, Kix, Kip Winger, Frank Hannon, Last in Line, Richie Kotzen, and a couple of really good smaller acts, the Rock N Roll Residency - a great 70's cover band - and a heavy metal flamenco group called Heavy Mellow.

The surreal part is that Def Leppard performed without Joe Elliot for the first time in 30 years because he had laryngitis and couldn't sing. But rather than cancel, they had Eric Martin, Kip Winger, and Andrew Freeman of Last in Line do most of the lead singing. Viv Campbell and Phil Collen did some lead as well.

Also, to add to the surreality of it, you probably heard that Last in Line bassist Jimmy Bain died on board the ship Saturday night. Their concert was scheduled for Sunday morning, which obviously didn't happen. Instead they did a great memorial for him with the other band members telling some great stories, and then later that evening they did a tribute concert with the remaining band members and the bassist from the Residency filling in.

All in all, it was both a sad and AMAZING trip.

Also, we have tix for the Jimmy Buffett/ZZ Top gig in Frisco Memorial Day weekend.
