In case anyone was wondering, to order all canon Star Wars trade paperbacks (collections of comic books), including preorders of announced tons, would cost you $313.60 on Amazon. That's 26 volumes.

Speaking of aotc and the Lars, it's been a while but I remember Papa Lars saying he will go look for schmi when his leg heals... which was cut off. Found it odd.

2. Owen is not Shmi's real son. Owen says that to Anakin as gesture, more than anything. They are only step brothers.

Wasn't Obi-Wan just about to get executed? What would have been the point of telling him?Brian Earl Spilner said:
I actually just watched AOTC yesterday and had the same thought regarding Dooku/Obi-Wan.
My thoughts are that Dooku wanted Obi-Wan and the Jedi Order to stop trusting in the Senate and the Republic, which would lead up to Palpatine's plan of painting them as traitors.
Had Obi-Wan believed him, then things might've gotten interesting. He might have then acted as if he was working in opposition to the Sith the entire time, and helped the Jedi overthrow him, while trying to take the Chancellor's seat for himself.

Slashfilm has a write up about how the Story Group might be laying the groundwork on Snoke's identity. There are some spoilers for the recent books here:

Everything they say makes sense both with the stories we've already seen and what Lucasfilm may try to do.
If you look closely in ROTJ as Han and crew enter the shield bunker, you can see the old Rebel start to take his backpack and uniform off. Only on for a fraction of a second but you can see it happening.Urban Ag said:
So, I get on the treadmill the other day and ROTJ is on and I caught something I had never noticed before in all the dozens of times I have seen it since 1983.
At the point on Endor where the rebels are over-powered and have to surrender at the shield generator, as they march Han, Leia, and the rebel soldiers out of the facility there is a panoramic view moving left to right showing all the rebels soldiers, hands over heads, and scores of imperial troops and AT-ST's walking around. As it pans across there is a rebel soldier in Biker Scout armor, helmet removed, with his hands over his head.
It also happens to be the rebel soldier that I have seen some of you on this thread refer to as "gramps" and theorized (jokingly I think) that it was Rex (or at least at some point someone at Lucasfilm would declare it cannon).
Must have been a deleted scene that some of the rebels put on Imperial trooper armor as part of the plan to infiltrate the facility. Anyway, thought it was kind of cool to pluck that out all these years later. Anyone ever notice that?
yes. I didn't collapse to the floor and lay there... I also wasn't part of the Emperor's elite fighting unit.redline248 said:
You ever been hit in the head while wearing a baseball or football helmet?
And I should have said a second after that scene, you see "Gramps" putting on a helmet.Urban Ag said:
Aha. I guess the part after that hit the editing room floor. thanks
Pretty commonly known in the nerd universe that the Fox execs insisted they cut the scene that showed the Ewok warriors peeing on the arrowheads and spear points, ala the Vietcong and punji sticks, just before the battle started. Mandalorians were using contraband Ewok piss for hit jobs dating back to the Old Republic. Everyone knows that.Flashdiaz said:
must have also edited out the part where the Ewoks put a special chemical on all their arrows, logs and rocks that renders all physical armor useless.
