Hey man. That's some pretty solid work

Bonus fun factThe Force Awakens' Poe Dameron was likely conceived during the celebrations at the end of Return of the Jedi! His parents, Shara Bey and Kes Dameron, both fought in the ground and space battle at Endor and are protagonists in Shattered Empire.

I didn't realize the battle for Jakku was just a year after ROTJ. Sounds like it was an epic battle.
It would be cool to get a short glimpse of the battle in the new movie, maybe the Star Destroyer crashing into the surface.

There were plenty of YT-1300s (at least, there were 20-30 years prior to ANH), but only one Millennium Falcon.

In one of the Zahn books didn't someone dredge up a YT-1300 to pose as the MF?
quote:Yeah, that's a good point. Seems like it's similar to the end of ROTJ, like it could be a quiet moment of reflection/satisfaction at the Empire having finally been brought down.
Agreed about Jakku. I'm thinking the scene with Luke placing his hand on R2 in the second trailer is probably from the flashback just after Jakku is over. The background looks desertish and on fire.

I believe one of the rumors from like last year (as far as I know this is not a confirmed spoiler) was how there would be a flashback scene and Luke was in a battle (assuming Jakku). Luke was a complete badass and was so powerful in helping destroy the empire in the battle that he scared himself and thus went into hiding and abandoned the rebellion / new republic all together.
I'm of the opinion we won't get any flashback type scene... at least not on the scale of a full battle. Mostly because Disney could make an entire Trilogy about the post Jedi wars & fall of the empire. That Battlefront pic alone shows how awesome that would be!
