I am downloading the new ep now. I wish they offered a lower quality version of the vid. I have a slow connection and the thing it too big!

I too love the serious coffee porn during each episode. The classic car porn is pretty cool too.

Baldwin's threat to go "Five Easy Pieces" on the waitress was great.

What is this?

Is this a tweet?

Baldwin's was great because he of course is reported to be a ***** sometimes and in that scene you could totally see both ways of it. He was absolutely right in how insane the waitress was with the certain bread for a certain sandwich, but at the same time with his dry delivery and peircing eyes you can totally see that waitress coming away from it and thinking "That Baldwin is a real *****!"

I'm a huge CYE fan so it was great to see Super Dave.

A lot of the time I wished the show was a full 30 minutes interview type show.

This was by far my least favorite of them all so far. Its still an enjoyable 12 minutes because of Jerry, but i found bob very unenjoyable

I should say it is the only one I havent been crazy about though

Thought Bob was funny enough. Favorite part was him getting out of the car and walking on the sidewalk.

Seemed like Jerry wasn't really into this one as much as the others.

Agreed, he seemed just kind of annoyed the entire episode. Not very talkative or engaging at all.

Newest episode was better than the last couple...very much looking forward to Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner

Other than the Larry David episode, that was my favorite one. Colin is the man.

Amazing to see those two legends just eating dinner like two old men. And Reiners house! It's just like any other old man's house. Outdated everything (except for the tv). Mel Brooks has still got it. Cracks me up!

Wow, this is a great episode. Very entertaining. With the exception of a couple episodes that were just ok, this has been a fantastic series from Jerry.

Love it. Michael Richards is the next episode.

Also, how much did they eat!? It seemed like they never stopped. Hilarious.

I loved Jerry talking about when he met Carl. So cool to hear things like that from him.

And Mel Brooks' energy. Very impressed.

Damnit, that spare part about Jerry stopping "Seinfeld" was so great. Hilarious stuff from Brooks.

I've said this so many times it seems like on this thread, but this is one of the most entertaining and interesting series' I've ever seen. It has been so amusing to me to watch these guys just talk to each other like buddies. No acting, no writing, just hanging out together. So cool.

Amen Dino! I would have watched those three talk for a couple hours and never gotten bored.

That was a great one. It is funny about Reiner's place. Looks like it was last decorated in the 80s.

They did eat a bunch. Ive been to most of these places they've hit here in LA. I guess they went to Nate and Als for this one. It's just funny that Brooks got chicken in the pot. Very old school. And yes, it's a ton of food.

How amazing is it that Brooks goes over to Reiner's EVERY night?! Just two old friends, having dinner on TV trays...but they're 2 comic geniuses.

I could have watched that for hours. What a cool episode. Hilarious.

Also now I'm hungry.

Is there a particular day of the week these episodes come out on? I usually just see this thread updated at some point and remember to check it out, but sometimes it's a couple at a time.

Really looking forward to seeing Richards in this context.

What a great episode. Those two are hilarious together, it was awesome to see them working it with one another. Hope Richards can get his groove back and get some work again someday.

Michael: I want to know who is wiping me off!

Last episode was great! Real funny and nice to see them talk about what happened to Richards and how Jerry stuck by him.

These last two episodes were fantastic. I could have watched Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner all day. The Michael Richards was great too, very different from all the others. What a mix of funny, sad and sweet.

I really feel badly for Michael Richards. I know he did it to himself, but it sucks that something he said in a moment of frustration 7 years ago has stuck with him like that. It just goes to show that it only takes a moment to destroy what it takes a lifetime to build.

Has anyone ever seen the Aristocrats?

That movie was filled with crap far more offensive than anything Michael Richards said. Bob Saget told one of the most horrifyingly offensive "jokes" I've ever heard. And if he wanted to host a family show on ABC tomorrow, he'd get to do it.

Comedian after comedian told jokes about molesting 4 year olds and beastiality, and it was CELEBRATED in this movie.

So what's the point of all this...

Comedians have different minds. Their minds are filled with a lot of offensive stuff. But it's all jokes to them. And certainly when they're alone with other comedians, all of this stuff comes out.

I don't think Richards is any different than most comedians. But that night his filter broke. And the kind of stuff he'd say only around other comedians came out in front of an audience.

Seinfeld is a good guy. I think he got this and stood by his friend.
walton91
How long do you want to ignore this user?
The difference is Richards was not telling an offensive joke that night. He was lashing out at the guy in the audience and he went straight for the nuclear bomb. Seinfeld is a student of comedy and he gets the frustration with a heckler. Even if Richards had a sharp comedic way to handle the guy, that word is still off limits. Right or wrong there was never going to be a good outcome for him throwing out n-bombs no matter how he did it

I'm not totally sure I agree with you.

You're right that it wasn't a planned part of his act. And it was spurred by hecklers/loud audience members.

But that doesn't mean he didn't think it would be taken as funny.

Again, I think a lot of comedians have in their minds some pretty offensive stuff that, on some occasions, comes out as a "joke" to them.
