I still think it was the wrong move for Cochran to make, but as we've seen, I think he simply felt like he'd rather play with coach's tribe and felt like he had just as good of a chance of ingratiating himself there and finding a way to stay in the game longer than staying with a tribe that held him in such contempt.

still, I think I'd have taken the chance, hoped they didn't draw the wrong rock, and then had control of the game.

ultimately, he was in a lose-lose situation, I think.

Glad to see John Cochran go. Being around him 24/7 would probably get pretty annoying.

I disagree that this has been a boring season. The pagonging was boring, but they took care of 4 people in 2 eps, so they did the best they could with that. but before that, when the tribes were still separate, there were a number of big moves that resulted in some interesting dynamics.

IMO, this season has been much better than last season. Coach is playing a good game, but nowhere near as masterful as Rob's, and thus, there's been some more room for others to make some moves.

It's had a few moments but last night's episode was basically the same as the previous two. If two people don't try to get Edna on their side and switch things around next week, that'll be very disappointing.

I just don't see how this season will stay good. Ozzie can make it to the finals now, but does be have the votes to win?

If Ozzie makes it to the finals, I think he wins. The other 2 people would have been responsible for voting off almost everybody on the jury.

Gotta presume that Ozzy gets the votes of the 4 jury members that are there right now. That's a good start. Depending on which other two make the finals...and who they piss off along the way, I gotta think that would probably be enough. It's also possible that he get's a vote from one of the remaining "other" tribe members. I could see Edna voting for him because of how this is shaking out against her.

Coach lobbied very well for Cochran's vote, so I think Cochran goes to him if Coach makes the finals.

But that doesn't mean that they're not going to vote for you. You have to vote people off to make it.

I'm amazed the others haven't decided to oust Coach yet. Do they really think they can stand up to him in the final, when he's been leading them all by the nose the whole way and swaying votes to his side?

Albert & Sophie seem smart enough to know they need to get him gone, particularly since he's still go the idol in his pocket.

The two of them really should have teamed up with Cochran and Edna and blindsided Coach this week. Then it's the 4 of them against the no-talk Cowboy and Pyscho Hantz Jr.

What are the odds the two of them win immunity the rest of the way? And even if Ozzie comes back, Albert & Sophie have been pretty legit on winning immunity and if it's a brain game, you've got Cochran or Edna to fall back on to keep the II out of Ozzie's hands.

this is why I hate redemption island. yes, it's impressive if you can win a bunch of challenges, but not having to play a part in any of the votes just defeats the purpose of the game. it's like he's playing a completely different game than the rest of the contestants are and as a result, he won't be judged on the same grounds that the rest of them will be. good on him if he can make it there, but it's not survivor.

I agree that they need to take out Coach sooner rather than later, but the problem is that Brandon and Edna are really only loyal to Coach. they have no other allies and unless Edna came to them to vote out Coach, I can't see her going along with the plan. even worse, she might go to coach and tell him they're trying to get him out, putting the target square on their backs, and coach doesn't even get blood on his hands because they were coming after him first.

I think they had a shot when it was 9, where they could have used Whitney and Dawn's votes along with cochran to take control and either vote out coach or at least weaken his numbers. but either they felt it was too risky or had a better idea of when they wanted to take him out.

either way, I think they know they need to take him out but are waiting for the right time. problem is, it may be too little too late if he's allowed to stay in.

I've never been a fan of coach on the show, but he's really playing a masterful game right now. he's very well protected right now and has some solid allies that will stick with him to the bitter end, even though it's probably not in their best interest to do so.

Not if you're on redemption island and everyone else is doing the dirty work for you. As long as Ozzie is there and not with the group making enemies, breaking alliances, back stabbing people, etc., then he has his 4 current jury members locked in and a potential vote or two still in the tribe.

I support having Redemption Island bring back one person at the merge. I like that it gives someone who may not have had a good 1st day in the game another opportunity. Bringing back someone from redemption island for the finals though is just dumb. Not the same game.

I liked Cochran at first, but I think turning on his tribe was a dumb move.

I think Im more pissed that he pretty much single handily gave control of the game to the Upolu's.

First by losing the immunity challenge when his tribe was up 7-6 headed into the merge.

and second by switching the vote.

I cant stand Coaches tribe. Outside of Albert they all come off as a bunch of lunatics.

Albert's not bad...Sophie is normal. And how can you say that about Rick when he's only said about 10 words in 3 months
