Was the kid that got shot Opie's kid?

I'm glad they are bringing in a new member from the Tacoma chapter. Ready for some new blood. And I think it will be good if they show some hang arounds moving up to probie status.

I couldn't tell. I thought it might have been the pornstar's that Opie was with.

And on your future spoiler, I'd thought that was pretty much explicit from the way that happened and what you could see. There was a pretty telling sound effect there too, for me anyways.

I like the new hardcore Jax that isn't so much brooding as kicking ass.

Was anybody else a little surprised that they showed a kid that was prett apparently dead? Seems like they usually don't show that. Pretty gut wrenching to see, but I guess that was the point.

I wasn't watching it on tivo, so I didn't get a chance to rewind it. I just thought that he looked like he got hit by a car.

And yeah, that makes more sense that it was the pornstar's kid. Opie's kids are younger anyways, aren't they?

Ya when the Priest came in and started talking to the lady holding the baby. They were going to kill the irish and dump his body somewhere where it wouldnt lead back to the ladies house that was keeping the baby.

I dont know why really. I may be way off but thats what it seemed like to me when the priest had the conversation with the lady about killing the irish. I am sure we will find out here pretty soon.

After rewinding three times, I turned on the CC and didn't catch that they were keeping Abel either.

I couldn't tell if the ropes were to hold his head, or if they tightened up when they rode over them or what. It almost looked like they were just scaring the bejezus out of him.

The whole baby oil deal cracked me up. Poor Tig can't catch a break. Bit in the ass by the dog. Rudely interrupted when vacationing in a Guatemalan.

I went back and watched it with CC this morning, and I interpreted it to be that they were keeping the baby to keep Clay from finding out that the IRA was involved with it in the first place. Basically to protect Jimmy's relationship. Jimmy can say, "Gee, Clay I'm mad at that ********er too, but I don't know where he is. Sorry. Want some guns?"

Seems like a bad idea all around (which will make for some good tv).

The black MC that Clay met in the gas station, had we seen them before?

My favorite line from last night, when they were kidnapping the other Mexican biker:

<Clay kicks him in the face and starts to walk away>

Didn't think about watching it with CC. I didn't understand half of the f-ing dialogue from the Irish because they whispered every line with that damn accent.

And, I don't know why, but I've had the phrase "Greedy Guaty" stuck in my head and it cracks me up for some reason.

Also, I thought it was weird they didn't make a bigger deal out of it if it was Opie's gf's kid that was shot. Seemed like a decent plot point to leave out. Maybe that's why Opie was so quick to respond "YES" about running over the guy's head.

I can't understand a damn thing when the Irish are talking either. Sometimes it's even difficult to understand the SAMCRO guys when they're talking low. I think the producers need to change to a different studio for audio mixing or their engineer just flat-out sucks, because no matter what TV I've watched this show on (or season) it always seems hard to understand them. Maybe I'll leave CC on the whole time.
