Hendrick got hammered. I am an HMS fan, but if they were altering parts, they deserve. NASCAR has been consistent with that penalty. Also, Elliott avoided the penalty since he isn't racing, so he now has the second most points of any HMS driver.
And Hamlin was stupid for admitting to wrecking Chastain on purpose. If he had kept his mouth shut or denied it, he wouldn't have been penalized.
