On a separate note, only one more race with the Fox Crew before we finally get a better product with NBC.

I really dig that FOX does the Crank It Up! You just turn the volume up to eleven, the commentators shut up so there's nothing but the sounds of the cars, and you get turned up for what!

I've enjoyed this race. The top guys have stayed close together and made passes in between short and long runs. Night time seems to have given Chastain the edge

I CANNOT imagine a scenario (outside of mental illness), that would possess a Grandparent to take the life of her grandson. I'm sick to my stomach.

This is terrible.

Apparently she has survived so far. They lost a son 9 years ago in a sky diving accident, so I'm sure there was a lot of mental health red flags, but what a sad tragedy.

Made it to the Xfinity race yesterday for a bit before the stoppage. Here with the family on the way to our Michigan vacation next week.

Incredible setup here just feel so sorry for the staff and planners, and the thousands of young people who came here just for the Chainsmokers concert last night.

Talked to a NASCAR staffer at the hotel bar last night. The postponement was all city of Chicago and not NASCAR. Some weird rule with lightning and city parks.

Either way, was pretty cool to attend.

It's like a damn tropical depression spinning over the city. Terrible luck

They can race Monday! NWS issued a flash flood warning so I doubt they'll stay in "holding pattern" for long. They'll call it soon.
