Time to move on…but typical Aggie is known to keep mediocre to poor coaches past their expiration dates. It has been for every sport that I can think of so why not volleyball.

Not sure how to start so I'll jump in with this. So as a very interested Aggie Volleyball fan it's hard to watch the games with same people making same mistakes without repercussions. Whether that be players or coaches!
It seems that no matter how bad play is for 'special' players no actions are taken to help the team. Same line up same result. Same lineup no substitutions. Error after error. No change.
Rumor has it that the bench side of the court consistently and constantly is beating the starters during practice. Yet only the favorite few seem to make the court. Start the backups? I guess not….
When the same lineup for the last several games is used and same or similar results are seen, isn't it time for a change to allow others an opportunity to participate and show what they have to offer in 'real' game situations? And I don't mean bring a player in for a couple serves and/or cheap points at the end of the set or match. I MEAN give them a set or a MATCH to show their worth! Players have been recruited by the coaches yet are not fully given opportunities for success. A fifth year player gets in court for 2 points all night vs Bama after years of dedication and support to her team….Very Sad!
I understand that Coach is trying to show off this excellent recruiting class and transfers, which I'll admit does show potential, but let's not forget the TEAM aspect. If any one Aggie goes down with an injury it's next AGGIE up. If someone is not producing it SHOULD BE next AGGIE up. But never has happened that way. Is it a personality contest that allows someone to play or does hard work and dedication to the program and coaches mean anything? Are they playing to show the future looks brighter? Or are they truly the best athlete, teammate and person who deserves to be out there?
As a Aggie fan I find it hard to understand the logic in what's going on here. Can someone more knowledgeable about the Volleyball Program assist or provide some insight?
Fingers are crossed hoping the talent all stays here as an Aggie.
i am still waiting to find out about the starters losing to the bench players consistantly and constantly beat the starters from a rookie account. I have done ton of 6 on 6 bench vs starters type stuff and bench rarely if ever wins and it is usually when the game starts at like 5-0 play to 15 tyoe scenariosShucky said:
Not to pile on, but the idea/thought/suggestion that any six bench players could consistently (or even, ever) beat a team that includes Meuth and Lednicky is simply not based in reality.
Finding consistently at the OH2 position has been problematic for two years. Last night, Lexi was clearly struggling in SR and we didn't do much to help her.
Last night was hard to watch.
The fans KNOW what the score of internal practice games are between starters and bench players ??NoMasPorFavor said:
May want to inquire with the players and coaches but it's been said by more than one fan while attending the game. The fans seems to be reliable ….kiddos have played there or are playing there now I've overheard it myself.
straight up are you a parent of a player since you sit with them ?NoMasPorFavor said:
Yes. Parents of players in stands. So assuming their kid is speaking the correct rhetoric the. One would assume some form of truth but hey you definitely would
Have more insight of team activities right?
You think the coaches aren't equally angry about a loss? They hate it just as much.Artimus Gordon said:
When the team your daughter is on loses to the likes of Alabama in V-Ball, it pisses everyone off, the players, the girls that did not get to play, the parents of both and the fans of the program in the stands. Coaches have a alot to account for. Plus it's a big negative to recruiting that the program is not any better than it is.

We were atop the league last season for digs and near the bottom this year....... Everything I have stated is factual based on information I know or my opinion
Tell me what in your opinion should be changed from what we have on the floor currentlyNoMasPorFavor said:
No I am not a parent. And many of us fans sit in and around parents of players as they are spread out everywhere. You get to understand their issues somewhat. Facts area facts. When the top shelf starters are not producing then changes SHOULD be made. Period.
We were atop the league last season for digs and near the bottom this year. So our defensive has improved? Defensive subs should be made also. If a player can't dig or pass next Aggie up!
I started this whole topic to get some insight on what others see but all I have received is very negative comments and suggestions that I have no idea what I am saying or that what I've heard is not true.
Everything I have stated is factual based on information I know or my opinion. Just like everyone else's opinion on here. So sorry if it may differ from yours but to bad.
Many of you should be on the election ballots Tuesday cuz you're so full of BS just like those who we stuck voting for. Just because you have 1000's of posts doesn't mean you know more or less than anyone else. It just means you have more time than others to spill your useless rhetoric.
Thanks for allowing me to inquire and get your opinion of the Aggie Volleyball Program. It's been so helpful
So far….
