28-26 first set? What the heck is happening?

Not sure what offers Logan had coming out of high school, but she will be able to write her ticket if she decides to leave after this season. Transfer portal has impacted vball as much as any sport, especially with the high end athletes. Really hope we have a successful season and she's here for the long haul.
She could have pretty much gone anywhere she wanted to go. She is part of the U19 USA NTDP and was one of the top rated right sides in the country in high school last year. Is it possible she could look to go somewhere else? Sure, but she wanted to come to A&M and her future here is bright. Of course there could be a lot of factors in play between now and next season, so who knows for sure.Shucky said:

SEC got six teams in last season. At this point, we clearly are not as good as Mississippi State (in my opinion), who was picked to finish 5th preseason. Could be a big bunch at that 6-10 spot. Hopefully, we can catch lightning in a bottle and grab it.billydean05 said:
We have some serious holes. I hope we can sneak into the NCAA tourney this year, but if I had to put money on it today, I do not think we will make it. We made a lot of poor passes. Middle play was a little better, but we let SHSU have a pretty good chance to win 2 out of 3 games.
Is there a serious thought this team could make the tourney? Honestly, there is not enough upside this year to see this team any better than 8th in the SEC.billydean05 said:

This is the fifth year of her five year contract. She has not been extended, and the way Bjork has done things so far in other sports, it kind of makes some think she will just finish her contract and then not given another one.flintdragon said:
By the way, everyone seems to be thinking this is Bird's last year if she does poorly. Is it because she will be fired? She's in the 3rd year of a 5 year contract.
I'm not saying this won't be her last season but I'm pointing out that it may not be because her contract ran out.cbmik95 said:
Byrd's first year was 2018. Hollann was a junior and put up eye popping numbers until her all American senior year. This is most likely her last season pending a great season.
