That was a really crappy move from Max in a situation where he had nothing to gain and Checo has a lot to lose. This could cost him 2nd.
Wonder what was said last summer regarding this. Max was adamant regarding some conversation.
Max has been a massive *****/**** his entire time in the sport but everyone on here worshipped him the last two years despite that and his team being a bunch of whiney, cheating ass hats.

My driver doesn't have a seat next year. But it's really not difficult to despise Max and his entourage, especially after everything Checo has done for him as a teammate. IDK, like holding up Lewis when he needed it for starters.
SkySports and internet speculating Perez's spin in Monaco qualifying was intentional and Max has not gotten over it. very petty to be holding a grudge after all the things he has done last year and occasionally this year.

I guess they way I look at it...I really like Max. The sport needs competitors like him. But he's not without his faults. That can be said for a lot of drivers...including a champ like Ham.
There has to be more to the story, because they've obviously talked about this before the incident today. Pretty shocking though. Definitely not going to make many friends like that.

Max lost a lot of fans today. I'm pretty new to F1 but this seems like a big deal. Those points are absolutely meaningless to Max. To **** over Checo and Red Bull in front of the F1 world seems like a big deal to me.
I'm not dense, I understand team orders are balked at fairly regularly, but today Max had literally nothing to fight for. He wasn't winning, he wasn't getting a podium. He had nothing other than ego I guess.
Not only that, Max did this to someone who's one of the most affable drivers in F1 currently and an individual that any team would want racing for them. Checo has a ton of fans.WC87 said:
