Agreed, but they wouldn't still be porpoising in FP2 to sandbag for Saturday. There are some issues, but they aren't being relegated to the midfield like some pundits are suggesting merely to get clicks.

They're making a big deal about people "running wide" but I think both of them didn't read the statement right.

Q3 will be good

Redbull is faster sector 1 and Ferrari 2/3

Rus with more pace in Q2 as well, Ham benefits from the only real tow of Q2 imo into 5th ahead of Rus

It definitely seems like they have a car with good pace. The real test will be whether LeClerc or Sainz can start winning race battles with Max and whether LeClerc/Sainz can consistently take on RB. Mercedes will need to find pace soon or they may get left behind.

I am still shocked at how well Haas did! This will shut up Mazepin for sure now!! The race is going to be won in the Pits tomorrow with race strategy!

Finally! I did appreciate the VER vs HAM battle last year down to the wire but it's good to see some parity this year.

My biggest surprises of Qualifying ranked:
1. Haas in Q3
2. Bottas sitting next to Hamilton on the start (LOL)
3a/3b. Ferrari kicking ass/McLaren looking like dog *****

Really thought McLaren were going to take it up a notch this year and hopefully compete with RB with Lando and Danny Ric.

Looking good. Will be curious if either can compete for individual vs Verstappen but based on just today they def seem to, at a minimum, be in it for the constructors cup.
