SFA was amazing. They placed 2nd in the 4x400 but didn't pick up a single point in the individual 400 or 400 hurdles or anything else except winning the high jump. Where were they?

Our men arent a real factor right now. We need to recruit a lot more speed.
His 400m PR is 45.61. He ran 47.98 in prelims on Wednesday. That's was a crazy outlier anchor.taylorswift13 said:and to split a 43 in the biggest race of his life... I AM IMPRESSED AND WANT HIM IN MAROON AND WHITEtriniaggie said:

I hope a couple of the football scholarship players can come in and give us a few points. It's so difficult for the men with only 12 scholarships and very little of the extra scholarship help that so many schools seem to be able to give.
LSU score an insane number of points. They doubled up everyone but Oregon and still finished 29 points ahead of them!
Truly without disparaging anyone of our athletes, I got the feeling that many posters felt that Achane was going to be able to come in and place high or even win the 200m, basically because he was the fastest football player on the field. The NCAA Division I track and field athletes are very close to being world class in many of the events. That's especially the sprints where physical maturity isn't as much of an apparent requirement as for some of the distance races. Devon likely has the potential to score at the NCAA's if he is able to keep developing and doesn't get hurt. But we saw tonight that he has a long way to be a first place contender at this level.
here's to hoping Terrance Laird, Squirrel Burrel, and JuVaughn Harrison go pro todaymullokmotx said:
LSU won an impressive 6 of the 21 events. Quite the collection of talent.
