This game was over if Miro doesn't block that pass. What a turnaround.

Didn't deserve the point, but that was some of the worst shootout attempts I've seen in a while.

A week ago I asked for fresh blood in the shootout. Today we got Robertson and Gury. That was god awful. The OT was pretty poor too. A point is better than none, but that was brutal.

This team really doesn't have enough playmakers in the forwards. Not a lot of elite stick handlers out there.
Welp, looks like the game will go on tonight. We've been without power since 4, and definitely don't feel great about leaving wife and kids home while I went to the game. *sigh* best laid plans.

They just postponed the game saying it's unfair for us to use that much power when other people have none.
I bet the mayor is just embarrassed by the recent play.
It really wouldn't have been a good look for the Stars to have played this game. Have no idea about how it would affect the grid, but so many people are freezing right now without power.

Haven't had power since 4 am. I'm sure pipes will freeze and things in the House will break. Drove all the from burleson over. Pulled up Twitter as we exited freeway to see it was postponed. 4 hours in the car well spent!
Tonight's game has been canceled as well.

Tomorrow's game postponed
It's going to be a challenge getting all of these games rescheduled along with the ones missed due to Covid at the beginning of the season.
While I don't think we're there quite yet, I could see a scenario where they have to go with point percentage to determine playoff teams/seeding. NBC is adamant that the NHL playoffs not spill into the Olympics, and the league wants a normal length off-season to accommodate the draft, expansion draft, free agency, player re-coup time.
If teams don't play all 52 games standings are determined by win %
In my scenario, sort of. It would be based on a points earned per game basis. So right now the Stars would be at 1.167 PPG based on 14 points through 12 games, just behind Chicago for 4th place that has 1.176 PPG through 17 games. Keep in mind, that's only one possible scenario, and it may never come to that. Just a possibility that's been mentioned. I just believe they don't have the time or inclination to do "play-in" games like last year and the schedule is getting about as tight as it can go.
And Saturday postponed too. That seems to have jumped the shark a bit.
The way they were playing let's just postpone the rest of the season
