This! Win half (only half!) of these OT games and we're in the playoffs.
I'm a bit surprised they rode him in OT knowing how rust he is right now, and rightfully so. I think the coaching staff let emotions rule over reason there.
Crazy night for Nashville and Dallas. This road trip was always likely to sink the season and that's just what has happened.
The play of Otter, Robertson, and Hintz has me more hopeful for next season though.

But Klingberg is a TO machine in general, seems especially so in OT lately.

He has top15 stats among goaltenders this year. He's had the much better year than Dobby

Just googled it, the tiebreaker is the greater number of regulations wins.
So that means the Preds can get only 0 or 1 point out of the next 2 games while the stars get 5 or 6.

Fair enough, would agree. Honestly, if he could just stop some penalty shots that would be fantastic. Then pray that Dobby gets picked in the expansion draft so Otter can back up Bish next year. Get back the guys from injury and resign a couple. This is what our lineup could be next year:
Robertson - Hintz - Pavelski
Seguin - Benn - Radulov
Comeaux - Cogliano - Faksa
Kiviranta - Dickinson - Guiranov
Miro-Oleksiak
Klingberg-Lindell

Oettinger is only 22 - he has a ton of upside. I'm glad we gave him a good amount of time this season. He's really a better option right now than Anton and I would expect him to steadily improve over the next year or two
The real questions are who gets exposed to the expansion draft, then we see what the roster looks like.
Most feel that Dobby will be taken, and I love him but that's probably for the best with Bishop's contract and now Otter being the future.

This might be a sacrilegious question, but do we need a stereotypical checking line anymore? I love the FCC line, don't ge the wrong, but if gurianov, radulov, and kivi are better scoring options than why can't they be the 3rd line.
