If they go with Top 4 in the playoffs, seems like it should quickly become a pretty uninteresting playoff race.
But, I shouldn't put the cart before the horse. Without Seguin, our (lack of) offense may make the race for 4th place closer than it should be.
Colorado are the Avalanche so pick one more team.

Good. No reason to have the best* 4 teams in the West all in the same division. And **** Minnesota.
Tentative deal in place for 56-game season to start Jan. 13th. Training camp will start Jan 3rd, except for teams left out of last season's bubble (they can start Dec. 30). Should get voted on by the league and players this weekend/Monday.

So Corey Perry is still an UFA. Any scuttlebutt about him coming back or have we used all our cap at this point in time?
The Stars only have around $250K of cap room at the moment. Depending on Johns' health/mental state, they have LTIR at their disposal, but I don't get the sense they would play that card for Corey Perry. Much more likely they save that (if available) in case a trade presents itself during the season and they need the space.
You could see a case where they get to training camp and decide to move things around to bring him in, but I doubt it. Too much young blood ready to break into the lineup and/or get more ice time.

Annnnd, he just signed with Montreal. So zero chance now.
Corey Perry was one of the biggest reasons we got to within 2 games of winning the Cup. He will always have my respect.
Stephen Johns will not play this year. Bummed for him and the team.

Anyone know if fssw is gonna have all the games this season like they have in the past? I stream every game, and just wanna be able to plan ahead if they have changed things up coverage-wise.

Fox sports SW will still cover the games, but unfortunately that channel isn't on very many services anymore. Sinclair broadcasting has been in a dispute with just about every satellite, cable, and streaming service there is.
I think AT&T TV and maybe Direct TV have it, but not many others.

2. Finding someone with a login to a stream that has FSSW
3. Forking over the $80 per month for ATT Now until the season is over or agreement is reached with youtubeTV

The latest I've heard is they are giving full season and half season ticket holders first crack at the seats. Then they will decide/see if they can accommodate mini plans, and lastly, if possible, tix for the general public. I'm sure when STHs get their seats there will be some available via Ticketmaster, etc.
