I'm not saying those two will be worth what they're owed, doesn't much matter to me, but I'm a strong believer Tampa will be worse off on the whole with Volkov or whoever else they can afford to replace those two with than they would be with those two. (And add that to whoever else they have to shed this off-season).

Vegas owner Bill Foley said today he expects the season to start around Feburary 1 and that it might be less than 60 games.
He also said he's not sure teams will want to fund the season if they can't have arenas at at least 40-50% capacity. (Which---side note---is quite a statement a couple days after they pretended there was no salary cap.)

Jumbo Joe to Toronto. Looks like the only real move that may happen (other than Hintz & Gurianov contracts) may be Perry coming back on a league minimum type deal. It remains to be seen if he'd be interested, but he's probably not looking at much else/more in this environment.

Not a bad price if he keeps up the goal output and if he plays like he did in the playoffs, its a great value.
If he keeps developing, they'll have to pay out in a couple of years, but I think he'll still be a restricted free agent, so the Stars will still be a good spot to retain him.

I don't know where they're at with Hintz, but with the Gurianov deal, they've got a little over $4 million in cap space and only Hintz yet to sign.
