Sweet! I finally made a Titan yesterday myself. I was a day one Destiny player and I haven't made one yet. I had two Warlocks at one point, back when getting your armor to max your level was totally RNG and many players had multiples of the same class.

Looking for a couple of folks to do the HM raid with my (non-Aggie) group tonight.

Do you have to do the taken war story to unlock the raid?

I don't believe so. However, you won't have some of the quests going into the raid.

I think you have to finish the main story 'regicide,' then do the mission that unlocks patrol. After that, it should be there.

No, not at all. You can raid as soon as you can find a group willing to take you. I assume you have to be 40, but that might not be true.

You do have to do all the Taken War quests in order to unlock the quest to get a 310 Artifact by finishing the raid, though.

Were you able to get your Oryx kill? I guess I replaced you in that group at the daughters yesterday. We struggled for at least an hour to get them, which was insane. I had to do the jumping way more than usual, but didn't miss a single one, which was very strange. We got Oryx down to a sliver and couldn't get to the last dps round a few times. No kill.

That said, if anyone still needs to kill him, I have the checkpoint.

I actually was. I must have replaced you replacing me, because I ended up back with the same guys (mostly) last night. That group was odd; we actually breezed through everything pretty quickly until the sisters, then we just couldn't get anywhere (at least not before I had to leave). Honestly, that FlapJack guy seemed kind of spaced-out (so to speak), and I kind of figured he was the problem (he wasn't very focused the whole raid, but we were able to pull him through). Regardless, we ended up pulling in two random LFG guys shortly after I re-joined and we knocked Oryx out in two tries.

I may be on for a bit tonight, I'm not sure. But if all you need is one more to help you finish him out before the reset and I'm available, hit me up.

Counting you, i've got 2 people in the fireteam.

If anyone else wants to help, I'd be grateful. Otherwise, it can wait until after reset. I've got 45 shards burning a hole in my pocket.
