Not digging Zoe Saldana as Gamora. Didn't like it when announced, and definitely not digging that pic of her. The other ones I'm completely in favor of, but she (at least in that pic) doesn't look right. Gamora should look like a human, except green. In that pic it looks like they've given her a freakish, distorted alien face.

\nerd rant over. I'm sure I'll still love the movie, the rest of it is sounding great.

Pratt is going to be a big star with all the momentum his career has been building up. This one could throw him into the "A list" as a leading male. His inevitable foray into dramatic roles will be interesting, as comic actors have shown a great ability to deliver good drama from time to time.

Only getting more excited for GOTG as more has been revealed (brilliant marketing so far by Marvel, IMO).

Chris Pratt is becoming a major star as of recently... With this and Jurassic Park and the Lego movie... I also read an article the other day of him starring in a Knight Rider remake movie with Danny McBride being the voice of Kit.

Looks great! I wonder if they are planning on playing Rocket close to the chest or waiting on a later trailer to feature him. A lot of this footage looks like a refined version of the comic con footage, which isn't surprising for a 1st trailer.

I'm sold.

Yep, he was in the post credits scene of Thor 2.

Benicio as The Collector and Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser are apparently the two villains.

I'm happy that they've gone as far into the Marvel universe as "The Collector" and they already mentioned "Death" at the end of the Avengers. I wasn't sure if they were going to use "Death" as the character or as some abstract thing, but since they have the collector as a main character (great casting by Marvel there BTW) it's apparent they are going with the Elders as we know them from the comics, at least for the most part.


I'm very excited about what Avengers 3 and GotG 2 can bring us.

I'm totally in. And there are some hilarious details in there too.

I know nothing of these comics but that looks like a really entertaining movie.

Love Pratt. Been a Parks and Rec guy from episode 1 and he has done some stellar work in big movies like Moneyball and Zero Dark Thirty. I follow him on twitter and honestly he seems like an insanely nice guy and deserving of the stardom he is about to get.
