Just curious, how many inpatient rooms does CapRock Hospital have at this facility? And how many are occupied by Covid patients??
Had a difficult time getting my oxygen level up. Now on 7L and my oxygen is 94%. Laid on my stomach for 30 minutes.
That's a long hospital stay Rex. I hope your home for the first Aggie game this weekend!
Three people from this Covid forum alone in the hospital, maybe the same one. That's on top of at least one death we know of of an active participant. My goodness, that's rattling. Hope the three of you get healthy quickly.

Hang in there, it's a slow process and it can get frustrating. This pneumonia is brutal on the lungs. Continued prayers for you and Rex.

My nurse mentioned the thread to me this morning and she thought it was so cool. She said you told her about it. So happy you are headed home!! This morning they took me off high flow oxygen. If everything goes well today and tonight, they are sending me home tomorrow! Continued prayers for everyone and Praise God for the healing.

Yes. I will have some. But I just went to the bathroom with no O2, and I did amazingly well. Have not felt that strong in weeks! Going to have to watch myself and not go overboard. I am not on O2 right now, and I am 94%.

That's awesome Rex. Yeah don't overdue when you get home. Don't be afraid to use some oxygen along the way. They got me in the shower for the first time about an hour ago, wow that used a lot of energy. I recovered quickly though.
Thank you Aston. I will definitely be telling my story and hopefully I can convince people that have the same mindset I did before I checked into the hospital. I'm ready to get completely better and get a vaccine and hopefully put this behind me for good. I'm 40, never get sick and always assumed I would have a minor case once I caught Covid. Boy was I wrong.

Is it better to take cold or hot showers with a fever? Google gives me different answers. I took a hot shower last night and when I got ready for bed shortly after, I got the worst chill of my life. You would have though I was walking around naked in Antarctica I was shivering so bad.
I always take a hot one but I do think it makes the fever/chills worse.
Warm but not hot. You don't want to shiver in the shower or when you get out.

Yes sir. Just finished my second remdisivir tx, laid on my stomach for over an hour. RT gave me a non rebreather mask to help control oxygen. Much more comfortable than the cannula and kn 95 mask that I was wearing. Thanks for asking
