It does not devalue the regular season for me because you still have to win enough regular season games to make the tournament. Once a team gets in, they can get hot and make an incredible run against several national seeds, but national seeds historically have a much better chance of winning the College World Series. Since the NCAA tournament expanded, national seeds (top 8) routinely dominate the field, making up the vast majority of Omaha attendees and frequently winning the championship. On average, roughly 4.4 out of the 8 teams that make it to Omaha are top-8 national seeds. The remaining spots are usually filled by a mix of unseeded Cinderella teams carrying hot momentum and only one or two No. 9-16 seeds. That's why the regular season still matters immensely.

Who would you rather be in terms of these championships? I think LSU since football and baseball are my primary sports. Florida seems the most balanced over the big 3 though

Oh for sure not. I was saying if you could give the championships from one of these schools to your school
Florida for me bc they are the only school ever that was done it In all 3. And they have another football one in 96.
And their diploma actually means something.
I also think football and basketball championships are lot bigger than college baseball. For me, it's the big 2 and I love baseball.
