The whole damn thing. He started the same guy in two different games in the same series. As the announcers said, that doesnt happen a whole lot and when asked what we could expect from a pen standpoint he just kind of casually said "a whole lot of guys".

This was a great team win by all involved. Fantastic series to watch after the shellacking in game 1

I was focusing particularly on the pinch hitting Partida, pinch running TK, and then pinch hitting Chestnut to sacrifice bunt. After that risking it with a pitcher who threw 52 pitches yesterday in Freshcorn. That's next level coaching moves.

Really just seems like a nod to the season in general. Wasn't exactly pretty but stayed in and fought and took the W on grit and perseverance. We are still in control of our destiny as we move forward. Love it!

He throws "angry strikes", just Asch used to.

There is a definite body language difference in a lot of our pitchers that I have noticed. Sdao used to have it, and now he doesn't so much, but when one pitch bites them, shrug it off and off to the next pitch.

Im not a sports psychologist at all, but you can tell how they feel about their next pitch by their body language on the previous. Freshcorn don't care, he's like a honey badger.

Shane is having trouble with his pitches going where he wants them to post-injury and he seems to know it after delivery, but pick yourself up, young man, head up and shoulders back and dial in focus on the next one. He seems to get down on himself more than he should have and it affects the next pitch more than he wants it to and that's not a good head space to get into. He's elite stuff, he just needs to not put the weight of the team on his shoulders and trust his defense. I am really high on Shane as a critical piece in the post season, he just needs to shake it off a bit.

I guarantee you Powell just earned more playing time in the postseason.

I'm so happy. I didn't actually see us fighting like this and taking the series with our bullpen situation

Powell has some great stuff, but inconsistent control. He really stepped up today.
