I need to do a pump up video for the playoffs with Fall Out Boy's My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)

I love that lead singer's voice.

I don’t get enough credit for the things I manage not to say.

Just saw where MSU was 35-1 when leading after the 6th. One more feather in a great series win. Those last two games were so gritty by a number of players, including multiple pitchers who were asked to do more than what we all wanted. MSU had a big advantage pitching those games and we just got it done.

We were at home. They are after playing us one RPI spot back of us.

I'm not sure adding stats to that really materially changes the quality of the win but the series was fun to follow.

The notion there is enough heft in the stats to distinguish into a top eight seed is noble and the concept of the S curve suggests far more differentiation similar to the tail of a Gaussian bell curve than we can claim though the Bruins have been more distinguished.

I hope we get a top eight seed. I agree we have earned it. But the contenders have worthy claims, too, and the committee doesn't serve us and never has though they give us nods from time to time.

The Nebraska court loss to the College Sports Commission is a loss for parity and gives an advantage to the perpetual winners, too, but is being challenged by the House Agreement plaintiffs.

The NCAA's goal is to minimize spending not improve competition especially on educational benefits which is what the NCAA v. Alston 9-0 decision was about.

At the same time the majors desire to maximize revenue. The House plaintiffs legal strategy was in combining both scholarships and school paid loans sense fees to student athletes to draw down roughly 50% of revenue. If the balance that as achieved in the agreement shifts away from the student athletes they have recourse.

The agreement isn't stabilizing and lacks an arms length renegotiation process that truly does skew into consideration student athlete concerns. Admittedly more st of them are probably enjoying the thought of free agency more than the reality, but in every sport except maybe women's basketball parity has been thrilling as fans of offer schools finally sniff championship runs abd enjoy the benefits that follow through national media attention.
