I truly believe even if he wasn't given the bunt sign he would've put it down. Man that was such an important play.

Im not looking, and Im sure that AI will help, but the cycle-warning for Sorrell got me thinking...
The announcers mentioned 2022, was that Zach DeLoach the the last to hit for the cycle?
I believe it was Ryan Targac.

DeLoach hit for the cycle in 2018, I just thought it was more recent than that.
me:
I totally forgot it was Mal's best bud, Ryan.

In his second year, he finished the regular season with 39 wins and an 18-11 conference record to earn a double-bye in the SEC Tournament.
He should be the SEC Coach of the Year. Argue with a wall. pic.twitter.com/pWJgzm0Umh

I do not agree with Zane and Brauny on this one.
UGA was picked to finish 9th and is going to run away with the league, just as Johnson should run away this this award.
That's not at all a slight to ME. He greatly exceeded expectations.

Fair enough, our team gave up a 13 spot in the 3rd inning of game 1. The game was completely over.
And the Aggies took the series. You have to give coaching a lot of bit of credit here.
No one had any idea what we would do in terms of arms to clinch the rubber match, probably not even coach ME, but somehow we did it and we won. You have to give credit where it's due sometimes.

This wasn't about only this weekend. It was an argument for SEC Coach of the Year, which means the entire season. No idea what you are intending to say / argue here.

We agree, it's not worth punching it out, unless you want to. My point is that we have done better than we should have, on paper. Not looking for any friendly-fire here.

Arrghhh! We be agreed then!

COTY isn't decided in a vacuum. In most years ME probably does have a case. It's really weak this particular year with UGA picked 9th and running away with the title.

I don't see any way we don't get a top 8. Never got swept.OneTwoseries loss to GA & AU at Olsen. Three road series wins. 18 SEC wins. 2-0 against tu. No way we are lower than an 8 seed. Possibly as high as 6 with a tournament win.
6 would be great, but haven't seen that as a possibility from anyone. If UGA sweeps AU & AU goes 1 & done in Hoover, maybe. Same w/tu I would think.

With all the pitching troubles we have had this year, why has Powell not pitched more? His stuff looks better than Vargas, Cunningham and several other bullpen guys we have used all year.
