Lefty got the start in the circle. Got hit fairly hard in the first. 2 singles to first 2 batters. Got Atwood to pop down the right field line. Frankie Vrazal made a great diving effort but was unable to secure the catch in foul territory. Next pitch was a no doubt home run. Gave up another unearned in the 2nd. A couple of walks a 2 out E4 on KK Dement lead to another sip run. After a leadoff walk in the 3rd. Coach went to the pen. She seemed just a hair off on her location both in and out of the zone. Not a lot off but inches matter and this just wasn't her night

Grace Sparks got out of the inning with no damage. Next inning a lead off 3 base error on Koko throw eventually scored with 2 out. Gave a monster HR to lead off her 3rd inning of work. That was followed by a double and her night was done

Sidne Peters came in and was lights out again. 2 strike outs sandwiched about a pop to left leaving the runner stranded at 2nd. She had another 2 k scoreless inning in the 6th. Got the lead off out in the 7th before giving way to the freshman

Sidney Lessentine got a long fly out to left for the 2nd out of the inning before giving up a walk and a hard hit single. Final out of the game was another hard hit single to center but Allie Enright gunned the runner at the plate to end the game

Offensively a great night for the Aggies who scored 12 runs on 16 hits 2 longhorn errors and I am not sure how many walks. Mac Barbara had the longest homerun I remember at Davis Diamond. It was deep into that practice field area in right center. KP was very good tonight and had a couple RBI. Amari had a nice multi hit game knocking in a couple runs. If she got out tonight I don't remember it. Frankie Vrazal also looked good and may be closer to nailing down that right field spot. Ojo had a couple RBI as well. Kylie Griffin continues to pound the ball. Even her outs look good with how hard she hit every ball. I am sure I am forgetting someone since we had 11 in the lineup tonight. I think everyone contributed at least one hit or a walk except Enright. She struggled tonight at the plate. She has been a streaky hitter so I didn't think much of it. She seems the like picture of "some days it looks like a beach ball, some days it looks like a BB"

Defensively the went with KP, Koko, KK, and Amari across the infield left to right. Kramer, Allie and Frankie in the outfield and Ojo behind the plate.

The middle each had an error but Amari could have helped more in throw from Koko. wooley did a great job charging the high hop slap over the pitcher head and fired a quick throw. It may have been a bit wide but Harper needs to catch it even if she has to release the bag. Better than it getting away and the hitter standing on 3rd. I thought it was a tough error on KK on a hard hit grounder near the bag. Allie showed off her arm to end the game.

Overall great night. The bubbles were plentiful at Davis. Lots to be excited about this team

Kay Naegeli has a write-up on the game. It is great to see such after a Fall game because there is usually a blackout on them by the athletic department. A wrote a comment below her article about the blackouts. Hopefully this policy will change in the future.
