Well watching paint dry does accurately replicate large chunks of the offseason so while it was rather ho-hum it did aptly symbolize our wait.

It's howling here too but most of it is coming from the side of my brick wall. I'm mostly sheltered.
We had wicked thunderstorms last night, and I slept horribly. Picked up 2.5" of rain though. Have had too much coffee this AM and am kind of sleepy but jittery. Should have stuck with one 24oz cup.
Hope ensign is doing okay today. At one point she lived in League City, but I don't know if that's still the case.
Just got power back down here in my part of League City. Been out since about 7:00 AM. I think this outage was longer than the total I suffered for both Harvey and the Great Ice Storm Outage of '21 combined.
We got a small thunderstorm and mom & dad Fairchild got bypassed (Rockport) thank God. They had hell last time after Harvey hit them. Just glad they are ok, and thoughts and prayers to all who were in Beryls path.
Didn't realize you were in LC too, John. My sister has lived there since 1992. Happy to hear you have power. You're one up on her.
