I had that problem during last football season. The problem went away with a new TV. I only watch on the TV through the ESPN TV app. I know that's not helpful at all.Beau Holder said:

It's a persistent issue - Sunday's game kept turning into some gymnastics event when I activated AirPlay. Immensely frustrating. Trying to see if anyone has had and troubleshot this problem.
