Don't get me wrong I don't like the clocks at all and I agree the catcher can help keep them on time but a pitcher should have a visual as well. Like the one at our minor league team here is not right behind home plate as to be distracting but just off to the side and easily seen. Pitcher shouldn't have to look at the main board to see it

I kind of like that everyone knows how much time is left except for the person it actually matters to. It just serves to drive home how ridiculous this is.
