Actually we bring back some very good pitching next year. If we just bring in a bunch of juco guys with average bats and bring in coaches who can get the most out of them we will have a very strong team next year.

This. We were one 300 hitter away from hosting a regional and probably two 300 hitters away from hosting a super.

I've seen a number of people say that....but the AD is there for that purpose. It's the job.

You'd have the support of a good portion of your fan base, and even those that haven't illogically hated him since 2007 wouldn't flinch at a change if your offense ends up turning in the worst statistical performance in recent history.

That said, there's a lot riding on the next few games and we will see how they go. I really believe the regional determines who coaches next year.

I would say Rob has met the minimum requirements without ever exceeding. Clearly time for him to go. He would make a great pitching coach somewhere. Probably even MLB.

We say that every year. We always bring back some, not near enough. Plus we are going to lose at least one.

It's a tough situation. Keep RC and hope the one or 2 offensive players he lands is enough or go with a new HC who may not be a pitching coach and relies in recruiting studs instead of teaching. Short term may be tough for new coach, but if he can recruit and has good assistants, should get better than this.
