Dude, there were TWO 62's and a front 9 30 today. Does not compute.

I walked the course two full times today. Firstly, it's not a very fun place to spectate golf. There's a real lack of space. It's a very pretty golf course and looks nice. But it was soft all day after some rain last night and the sun never came out today and it didn't dry out. Therefore the sloping fairways did not really come into play and the greens were fairly easy to hold on long holes. It was no surprise to see a few guys in the morning tear it up. The rough is also not long, I've had tougher lies playing Memorial in Houston when it's near tournament shape. I'm a little disappointed and hope they don't water tonight and mow the fairways and greens down a bit for tomorrow.

Not a great putt at all for Sam. Left himself 11ft for par.

Just a wild card of having the tournament at a new course. Can never be sure just how effectively they'll be able to attack it, and conditions set up for a very attackable course today. Doesn't bother me. That said, the rough does look pretty weak, although bermuda can get gnarly without being all that high due to the runners

I wish Sam Bennett would have played as well in the SEC and National Championships as he does in Majors.

There's 1 78 and 2 79s. 2 of those are by amateurs. There's no way to defend this mess. Hooeothey tip the course out and tuck some pins to save face or else -16 is going to win.

He should be. According to the club pros on this thread, this course is way too easy

Rory just went completely underneath the ball in the rough.

They've got a couple options to make the course harder.
1. Pull and Augusta National and import some 100 foot pine trees tonight.
2. Aerate the greens
I'm good with either or both.

I kinda dig the split flags on the pins.
