The course is not playing materially more difficult today. Still no sun and it's soft. Fans are slowly filtering in, I bet it's packed in 3 hours. Traffic getting to this course is a real pain in the ass.

On Golf Subpar podcast Billy Horschel said he feels bad for atrending fans because there just aren't spots for fans to view or get close. Therefore it will look crowded in spots because everyone will be filtered into a handful of spots.

Pretty much. You can only walk tee to green on about half the holes. I posted up in the stands behind 8 this morning where you can see tee shots on 2 as well. Normal fans have almost nowhere to watch the second half of 18

Sam just missed another very makable 12 foot birdie putt on the short par 3. He's ball striking great but needs some juice in the putter.

some started on 10, so they may be playing their 9th hole but on 18, etc.

course is holding up really well today and that is without any sun, etc. I think some areas of this course could get unplayable if they try to firm it up too much.
